Environmental Journalism School

The human capital working in journalism sector needs the technical knowledge of environmental issues. On the basis of felt need to provide technical knowledge in such a way that the general public will also have the opportunity to get informed about the environment in an easy and accessible manner, WWG has initiated to establish an Environmental Journalism School in collaboration with School of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (SchEMS), which is affiliated with Pokhara University.

 

This sort of school is the first in its kind in Nepal . The School will have two different levels

a. Advanced Environmental Journalism
b. Basic Environmental Journalism

 

MoU between WWG and SchEMS has been signed and other preliminary works such as sorting out the experts of concern field and conduct meeting for consultation, designing draft of curriculum, preparation prospectus of the program are going on.
